Following a recent discussion with my daughter & granddaughter, I thought it might be interesting to write a little blog post about some of our spelling pet-peeves. 

It was mostly concerning social media posts & want ads.

Some examples (seen most often) would be...

Wanted 
chester draws  (chest of drawers)

For sale
hampster cage  (hamster cage)

We where going out  (We were going out)

Wanted
Wardrope (Wardrobe)

Offer
Footstall (Footstool)

These are just a few but there are so many.
I can't think of any others right now but there are a lot more that are far more common than they should be.
